Carole Anderson, Registered Physical Therapist
Carole
Anderson, R.P.T. joined V.H.M.A. in 1992. She graduated from the
University of Southern California in 1978 with a B.S. in clinical
psychology, after completing her B.S. in Physical Therapy at Georgia
State University in 1977.
When Carol
returned to California, she began working as a Physical Therapist with
emphasis in Neurology. She held the position of Director of
Rehabilitation Services at San Gabriel Valley Medical Center for 13
years, before coming to Verdugo Hills Medical Associates. Carole has
particular interest in teaching Back Education classes involving
Mckenzie protocols.
Carole is also
an A.S.P.O. Certified Childbirth Educator and Certified with California
Children Services for Care of Disabled Children.
Carole
Anderson lives in the San Gabriel Valley with her husband Greg and
their five children ranging from 8-19 years of age. She enjoys quilting
and other handcrafts and is involved in community activities with her
children such as high school bingo, soccer, little league and scouting

Charges:
We accept
payment per the California workers' compensation allowable fee schedule
for our physical therapy and rehabilitative services rendered to our
occupational care patients. Our fees for private patients are
competitive in relation to similar services offered in our community.
We accept the fee schedules for health plans with which we are
contracted.
We offer individualized treatment programs for both the
private and work-related patient experiencing musculoskeletal injuries
or problems. We treat patients of all ages. We treat patients that have
seen one of our physicians, as well as many patients that have seen a
physician other than one of our physicians, and has been prescribed
physical therapy. We offer a wide range of services including:
Initial and
interim evaluations by our registered physical therapist for each and
every new problem
Individualized
treatment programs based upon your provider's and our registered
physical therapist's evaluations
Routine
treatment of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal and joint disorders
Treatment of
sports-related injuries
Treatment of
neurological disorders
Application
of current therapeutic modalities and procedures
Goal
oriented treatment programs to achieve optimum function within the most
efficient time frame
Functional
lifting assessment and work hardening to reach optimum lifting
capabilities as required by job description
Back school
education classes including body mechanics, posture & exercises
Fabrication
of splints and other appliances to allow for greater independence at
work and other daily activities
